The dean of the Shanghai University of Music and Film graciously extended an invitation to our consultant, Bryan Lee, our Director, Tina Tao, and myself to lead a workshop for their cohort of 40 Musical Theater students.

The workshop was designed to hone their ensemble skills and delve into physical drama techniques. Drawing inspiration from Rudolph Laban's renowned eight efforts, we utilized them as the foundation for our class activities, while also encouraging the students to infuse their own creative ideas and influences into the exercises. This collaborative approach fostered an engaging and dynamic learning environment, allowing the students to explore and develop their skills in a meaningful way.
